hi. I just stumbled upon your blog, and not that the opinion of a total stranger counts for anything, but I like the one minus the dust. It get's the point across, and the one with the dust is a tad distracting.
With the dust, I like the yellow, very Audous Huxley.
Another total stranger opinion--If the plates are for eating off of, I'd put my food on the one without the pesticide.
I like the dust... it really helps tell a story.
Definitely the dust! Very cool design!
I like the plate with the dust. It gets right to the point. Is there a way you can incorporate (in a subtle way) the canarys into the background of the dust? Maybe like the tankers in the slip? Or in layers of the underglaze?

very cool. with the dust it adds more movement to your design. without, the plane seems to float (i know that's what airplanes are supposed to do!) but the dust helps to connect it to your overall pattern. nice of you to share, it's fun to read other people's ideas.

If the 'dust' is the lime coloring... I love that one. It adds a further dimension to the design that's delightful.
Hi! I'm quite amature slip-wear potter from Japan.
I like simple one without yellow color as the desighn point of view.
It is, however, can not image its under dusting. So my idea is to show the dusting by shading of white color.
Can you understand my poor english?
hi kip, i agree with okada, some subtle way to incorporate the dust may be worth a shot - like a white or softer colour - a pastel tit. yellow maybe...hope your week is good, m
Am following the comments and I also think Okada has the solution to including the "dust" but making it more subtle so it doesn't overpower the other elements going on. So... I change my earlier vote and line up with Okada! :)
I definitely like the dust but I would alter the color since it screams toxic to me and your themes appear to be subtle (Until you get what you're actually looking at!) an aspect that I especially like.
